• The wx4.me and map.wx4.me web applications, with your consent, will cross-reference your device's precise location via standard operating system location providers with National Weather Service data to determine weather conditions in your area.
• For maximum reliability, the web applications require your device's precise location. Devices with GPS capability work best. Accuracy of data cannot be reasonably expected with only approximate location information. See our Privacy Policy below for more information.
• This site is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, timely delivery of NWS products through the internet is not guaranteed. Examples of sources where you can receive up-to-date weather information include NOAA Weather Radio All-Hazards, NOAA Weather Wire, EMWIN, NOAAPORT, or local over-the-air television or radio broadcasts.
• The developers of this application do not guarantee the timeliness or accuracy of data presented to you by the application. In no event will the operator of this service, its directors, its employees, its partners or the National Weather Service be liable to you or to any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages or lost profit resulting from any use or misuse of this data. We disclaim all responsibility for any damages, injuries, or loss of life as a result of using this application. Be advised that our data sources, data stores, program code, and transmission media may fail and this application may not detect all products issued. The platform is designed to be totally automated and as such, is a “best effort” data source. Before using information obtained from this application, special attention should be given to the date and time of the data and products being displayed. This information is not saved or logged by the application, but is sent to a third party (the US National Weather Service, an agency of the United States federal government) for processing. The wx4.me and map.wx4.me applications use Plausible Web Analytics, which is hosted in the EU and fully compliant with GDPR. Any data collected is used solely in a personal capacity and not given or sold to any other party.
